Clearly, this CMS offers excellent scalability, in line with web progress, for years to come, with complete peace of mind.

Its popularity, however, makes it a target for attacks, so you need to avoid any security loopholes on your site to protect it. Visit WordPress webmastering service is essential to your site's longevity.

Which hosting providers do you work with?

Controlling your infrastructure is the key to efficiency. I have my own infrastructure (web servers, DNS, backup, monitoring). The most important servers are based at Hetzner, and redundant servers are available in France from various suppliers.

For projects requiring a managed server, I recommend HaiSoft. This Orléans-based hosting company specializes in facilities management, and I have every confidence in them, having worked with them for 5 years. The service is extremely reliable, and the support team is contactable, French, responsive, friendly and sympathetic, so no problem can go unresolved!

My site is hosted by a third-party provider. Can you handle it?

For a one-off intervention, unless your host has aberrant constraints, it's not a problem.

However, to benefit from my webmastering services, your site must be on one of my servers. This is the best possible way of ensuring complete control over the server and site security chain, and thus optimal service.

What is the "Zero Hack" commitment?

In 5 years with a web hosting company, I've found that most pirated websites contained security vulnerabilities for lack of updates. In some cases, piracy stems from the use of weak passwords.

Now, a near-zero risk of piracy is possible thanks to rigorous safety policy that I apply.

That's why, should a hack occur under my supervision and despite all these precautions, I'll take full responsibility for the repair.. This is my Zero Hack" commitment. Intervention is fast (48 working hours) and totally free of charge.

Keeping backups of your site on my side, I can operate its restoration to a pre-hacking state.

Once the site is back on its feet, the fault is identified and corrected immediately to prevent any recurrence.

New customer? Even if there is no backup of your site, in 98% of cases, the site can be repaired and secured !

What is your security policy?

The final security of a computer system is only as good as the weakest link in the chain. That's why I treat every link in the chain with the utmost care, from server to website to visitor.

WordPress websites

  1. Daily update of all sites
  2. Use of strong identifiers/passwords
  3. Anti-robot and anti-bruteforce systems
  4. WordPress-specific firewall
  5. WordPress-specific web server security rules
  6. Use of reliable and well-maintained scripts (themes/plugins)
  7. Replacement of any script or theme no longer maintained
  8. Daily alerts on known security vulnerabilities

Web hosting

  1. Data hosted on an ultra-secure server (more stringent than the PCIDSS standard)
  2. General application firewall enabled
  3. Banning attacking IPs
  4. Use long, secure passwords
  5. Consistent use of the latest compatible version of PHP
  6. Regular scanning of site file integrity

And to go further...

  1. The use of GAFAM (Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft) services to store data is avoided wherever possible.
  2. All files (backups, documents) are stored on a personal, self-hosted cloud
  3. All passwords required for webmastering are encrypted in a private, encrypted, self-hosted password manager.
  4. All e-mails exchanged are hosted on a private server

If my webmaster is incapacitated, what happens to my site?

Every effort is made to give you maximum control and freedom.

I'll make sure you own your domain name with the registrar, giving you the freedom to change hosting without consulting me. I provide you with an archive of your site after its creation or migration. I provide you with access to Plesk to download all your data if required. You can also request a complete archive of your data up to 1x per month.

If, by force of circumstance, we were no longer able to work together (knock on wood to prevent that from happening), you wouldn't lose your site at all, just your beloved webmaster.

How do you get such fast sites?

Well-kept secret! You won't know!

Do you insist? All right, but only in outline!

  • A well-chosen server
  • Server activity analysis and fine-tuning
  • Meticulous choice of scripts to avoid slowdowns
  • Exemplary blocking of harmful robots
  • Optimum cache management
  • A desire to reduce unnecessary frills that needlessly overload a website
  • Systematic performance measurement and optimization
