Create an email address

You can freely create email addresses for your domain by following these steps:

  1. Go to Plesk Control Panel
    Go to your Plesk control panel to manage your email addresses.
  2. Navigate to email addresses
    Under your domain, click on "Email addresses.
  3. Create a new email address
    Click on "Create an email address.
  4. Configure email address
    • Address name Enter the desired name for this new email address.
    • Password Choose your password. You can also click on "Generatethen on "Show " to view and copy your password.
  5. Activate anti-spam
    • Go to the "Spam filter.
    • Check box "Activate spam filter.
  6. Finalize creation
    Click on "OK to register your new email address.

Change email password

To change the password of an existing e-mail address :

  1. Go to Plesk Control Panel
    Go to your Plesk control panel.
  2. Navigate to email addresses
    Under your domain, click on "Email addresses.
  3. Select email address
    Click on the email address whose password you wish to change.
  4. Change password
    • Enter the new password.
    • You can also click on "Generatethen on "Show " to view and copy your new password.
  5. Save changes
    Click on "OK to confirm the password change.

Note If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it via your Plesk control panel.

Automatic email response

Caution! Activating automatic response is strongly recommended because it can lead to automatic replies to all incoming e-mails, including newsletters and spam, which could make you look like a spammer. LRob reserves the right to delete any automatic reply that generates too much spam.

Recommended use

When you're on vacation, it can be useful to activate an automatic reply to inform your correspondents of your absence. Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to Plesk Control Panel
    Go to your Plesk control panel.
  2. Navigate to email addresses
    Under your domain, click on "Email addresses.
  3. Select email address
    Click on the desired email address.
  4. Configure automatic response
    • Go to the "Automatic response.
    • Check box "Enable automatic response.
    • Insert your autoresponder message.
  5. Optional: Set a deactivation date
    Choose an end date for automatic deactivation, so that you don't forget to deactivate it manually.
  6. Save changes
    Click on "OK to activate automatic response.

Delete an email address

Attention This operation is irreversible. Although it is possible to restore your emails from a backup, all preferences associated with this address will be lost.

To delete an email address :

  1. Go to Plesk Control Panel
    Go to your Plesk control panel.
  2. Navigate to email addresses
    Under your domain, click on "Email addresses.
  3. Select the address to be deleted
    Check the box corresponding to the email address you wish to delete.
  4. Delete email address
    Above the address list, click on "Delete.

Empty my mailbox

Tip To optimize disk space, remember to regularly delete e-mails with heavy attachments.

NB : The disk space of a mailbox is generally used not by the number of mails, but by the attachments in these mails.

First of all, you need to connect to your mailbox (see Connecting to email addresses ).

Via RoundCube webmail

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Connect to your mailbox via RoundCube webmail
    Go to page Connecting to email addresses to log in.
  2. Sort emails by size
    • Click on thegear on the right of your inbox.
    • Activate the "Size.
    • Then click on the "Size" column to sort your emails by decreasing size.
  3. Deleting bulky e-mails
    • Select the largest e-mails (ctrl + click to select multiple e-mails).
    • Click on "Delete at the top of the page.
  4. Empty garbage can
    • Click on "Basket in the left-hand tab.
    • Select thegear at the bottom of the page.
    • Select option "Empty to permanently delete emails.
